Actually we really know nothing - what he has done, why he has been recalled to prison, whether or not he has told anyone who he is etc.
All we know is what newspapers have written and as their main objective is to sell papers, the more sensational the better.

What I do not understand is why the government announced he had been recalled to prison. If they had kept quiet, whatever the situation is could have been dealt with quietly.
A cynic might suppose that the government announced it so the newspapers would concentrate on that rather than politics this close to an election.
