Due to the latest charges against the Venables Man, as he is now, should we have a right to know who he is and does he now deserve annominity.
He has apparently told numerous people who he is so it is now quoted that he may have to have a new identitiy costing £250,000  alledgedly. Would it be a fair trial if his identity was reveald to the general public.

Perhaps the only practical, and cost-effective solution, is solitary confinement? Oh, and a diet of bread and dripping, or is that too good for him?

Venables former legal bod has asked " do not give up on this child killer "  Surely even at that early age he knew right from wrong but now he is 27 yrs he is still in serious trouble  so when DO they start giving up and start treating him as a serious threat without wearing kid gloves.  By the way, I LOVE dripping on toast with salt on it. Have not had it for many a year though.

Actually we really know nothing - what he has done, why he has been recalled to prison, whether or not he has told anyone who he is etc.

All we know is what newspapers have written and as their main objective is to sell papers, the more sensational the better.  Grin

What I do not understand is why the government announced he had been recalled to prison.  If they had kept quiet, whatever the situation is could have been dealt with quietly.

A cynic might suppose that the government announced it so the newspapers would concentrate on that rather than politics this close to an election.  Evil
